Job Responsibilities:

  • YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Creating, negotiating and implementing local guest activities for all guest groups staying at during 2018 FIFA World Cup;
  • Managing local events and taking care of groups from their arrival into the city all the way until their departure;
  • Responsible for the full run of show within the city;
  • You will manage the day-to-day relationship with the vendor and ensure staff are thoroughly briefed throughout the run of events;
  • Assisting Hospitality Manager with travel, accommodation, venue booking, ground transport and catering where required;
  • Running events and conducting additional site visits to hotels, venues and activation sites when needed;
  • Training, breathing hosts prior to the event and assisting with their rotas and allocation
  • Responsible to making sure everything is ready for hospitality groups. This includes but not limited to placing signage, filling fridges, placing room drops, checking rooming lists, organising transport for group collections, making sure hosts are briefed and doing their tasks, assist groups with any questions and problems they might have, coordinate the full hospitality programme as per group itinerary and communicate any changes or delays to all parties involved.

      • Requirements:

      • Fluent in English and Spanish;
      • Local knowledge (logistics, accommodation and restaurant/bar landscape) of the city is a must;
      • Solid work experience and deep knowledge in the marketing, event or hospitality industries;
      • Experience working during sporting events is a plus;
      • Experience with interacting with high-level international guests;
      • Experience with on-site event management and execution and handling of high-end guest expectations;
      • Ability of coordinating of operational teams composed of several contractors and services suppliers involved in delivering high level hospitality programmes;
      • Detail-oriented; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and produce quality work within deadlines;
      • Superior organisation, interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
      • Ability to manage precise financial records and budgets
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software (specifically PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
      • Willingness to work weekend, holiday and non-traditional hours, as required
